What our members have to say:

"Historic High Country Travel Association meetings and emails are a constant and encouraging reminder that we are part of a larger effort to tell the story of our region, and that good advice is only an email or phone call away."  ~Joe Kitchens, Exec. Director, Funk Heritage Center

"There is no better way to learn about tourism than from your peers. One of the most cost-effective ways to do this is by attending Historic High Country Travel Association meetings and getting involved.  We all have great tourism products in northwest Georgia, but many of our communities aren't a week-long destination by themselves; however, collectively, we are.  My involvement in the Historic High Country Travel Association allows me to learn about other area tourism products and find ways to cross-promote.  We can truly offer a destination to the tourist market by offering the Historic High Country region." ~Beth Grubbs, Exe.Director,Calhoun-Gordon County Convention and Visitors Bureau

"The Travel Association is a great networking tool.  Working with other tourism professionals opens the doors to many resources, whether it's advertising cooperatively, representation at state and national travel shows, receiving media leads as well as representation on the travel association's website, just to name a few.  I've been involved in the Association for many years, and I find its resources invaluable." ~Kathy Mathis, Deputy Director, Greater Rome Convention and Visitors Bureau

"Hidden Hollow Resort has been a member of and active in the Historic High Country Travel Association for many, many years, perhaps from the beginning.  We go back to the early days.  It is important to us that we continue to receive the benefits of our membership even though our Mom and Pop operation keeps us very busy and at times prohibits us from attending very many meetings." ~Bonnie Jean Thomas, Owner, Hidden Hollow Resort
