Dining – Tap into your sense of adventure and try the local restaurants for a real taste of the South. Ask the locals where they eat and what’s good. Most of the time you won’t be steered wrong.
Internet Access – Most lodging properties have Internet access, and often free. Check with the Visitor Information Centers, Convention and Visitor Bureaus or Chambers of Commerce to find the local Wi-Fi spots.
ATMs – Running short on cash? Automatic Teller Machines are usually easily located in major communities.
Traveling with Kids – There is a variety of free and low cost activities in the region making it affordable for family travel. Numerous parks are a great place to let the kids run off some of their seemingly unending supply of energy!
Transportation – Downtown areas are walkable, and a good opportunity to take in an area’s local flavor; however, most communities in northwest Georgia don’t have public transportation. Be prepared to drive your own car or rent a vehicle to get around.
